This is macro focusing adapter, extension of helicoid ring is about 24mm to 30mm.
Also, it is very well made (of brass and aluminum) adapter, which will allow you to use lenses on Sony E mount APS-C camera. (For full frame E mount camera, cropping image may be needed.)
Best fit for macro photography, also support focusing infinity at closure.
Switching on "Release w/o lens" is needed on E mount cameras. Switching shooting mode to M (manual) is recommended.
With aperture control ring, all F mount lens (including those in "G" ending) can be used. Vignetting may occur in full frame cameras, especially DX lens.
